Startup to Scale-up Conclave 2025 at IISc, Bengaluru

IBioM held its Startup to Scale-up Conclave on 12 August 2025 at IISc, Bengaluru, as a parallel track of Genomics India 2025.

Dr. Shridhar Narayanan, CEO of the Foundation for Neglected Disease Research (FNDR), delivered a talk on “Startup to Scaleup — Building and Sustaining a Not-for-Profit.”

Mr. Naveen Kulkarni presented “Technology Readiness Level — An Introduction,” outlining TRL as a framework for assessing how mature a technology is.

Dr. Sridhar Ramanathan, Senior Vice President of IKP Knowledge Park and CEO of IKP EDEN, followed with “TRL from an Incubator’s Perspective.”

The day closed with a fireside chat on investment and innovation in biotech, moderated by Mr. Lalith Kishore (C-CAMP), featuring Mr. Alex D. Paul (Azooka), Ms. Meenakshi Chotia (LexOrbis) and Mr. Vishal Katariya (Ankur Capital).
